Rolling Thunder is a non-profit organization, which operates under the guidelines of the Federal Government for a non-profit organization as defined by section 501C(4) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.

Rolling Thunder®, Inc. and it’s nationwide membership donates his or her time because they believe in the POW/MIA issues that we are working on.

Rolling Thunder is not and never will be a Motorcycle Club or Organization.  Motorcycles are just the choice of transportation of many of our members.  No Chapter of Rolling Thunder shall ever add the letters "MC" to their Rolling Thunder  back patch or territorial patches.
